XL Microwave’s Analyze-R™ , Model 2261, is an affordable, easy-to-use, application specific, Spectrum Monitor / Analyzer for ISM and U-NII applications in both the 2 & 5 GHz bands. The Analyze-R™ is designed for those doing site spectrum monitoring and analysis, surveying, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the latest wireless communication systems in the unlicensed ISM / U-NII bands. This unique instrument is designed for field operation and is a fraction of the cost of a full-featured general-purpose spectrum analyzer…and far easier to use!
The Analyze-R™ has an intuitive interface and provides both frequency and amplitude information across an entire 100 MHz U-NII band. Resolution bandwidth is 1 MHz and the amplitude range spans -100 dBm to –30 dBm (nom./either peak or average modes). The Analyze-R™ employs a monochrome backlit LCD display that’s easy to read in high or low ambient light conditions. The display operates in real time and, when in band sweep mode, displays 101 1-MHz channels across a 100 MHz band. An adjustable on-screen marker provides specific measurement of amplitude and frequency, allowing precise evaluation of signals. In single frequency mode, the display switches from a graphic display to a numeric display to show a specific frequency and its associated RSL power in dBm. This mode is most useful when aligning the antenna for a terrestrial point-to-point link or for monitoring a specific frequency channel.
